UV Laser

UV lasers are signified by their wavelength.  The UV light is typically achieved by using large diodes to pump light through a doped crystal. The doping material is specifically designed to achieve the desired wavelength of the laser. UV lasers are most desirable for the very small laser spot size and the cold marking process. This cold process is achieved through the 355 nM wavelength—essentially marking the part with zero-heat affected zone and no damage to the base material.
